The Fun Has Begun
The best news this week is we have found a furnished place to stay in Anacortes while the house is being built. It’s great we will be able to unpack our clothes and relax in a space just for us for the next six months. We are so looking forward to living in our new home town, Anacortes, Washington.
Almost three months into construction and the house is starting to take shape.
We arrived from our winter in Mexico in mid April and the foundation walls were just being formed. Late this week they will be ready to start framing.
The view is even more awesome than we thought.
New Journey
Seventeen years ago we purchased a lot in Loretobay Mexico on the Baja Peninsula. We were able to move into our Casa seven years later in 2012 and would spend four or five months in Loreto Mexico working every year to complete another project. One year was finishing the kitchen, another year was putting in the pool. Every year we would work on another project. This last year we finished all the projects and decided to put our Casa up for sale. The big reason is we now have a grand daughter and a grand son. It is important for us to see our grand kids on a regular basis which is impossible living five to six months in Mexico. This new journey will be great for our grand kids and also let us travel without feeling we must go to Loretobay.
